SUMMARY:Which Diet? Which Supplement? Nutritional Management of Gastrointestinal Disease in Dogs and Cats
DESCRIPTION:Acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases are common in dogs and cats\, and nutritional therapy is often of paramount importance when managing these cases. In this seminar\, Head of Clinical Nutrition Isuru Gajanayake will discuss the nutritional approach to common gastrointestinal conditions such as food responsive enteropathies\, triaditis and protein losing enteropathies. Less common conditions such as dysbiosis and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease will also be discussed.  This will include use of commercial diets\, home-cooked diets\, and nutritional supplements.
